Your information, handled plainly
This notice explains how Banhoek Stud ("we") handles personal information on this website, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to share: your name, contact details and the information about your event or your horse. We use them for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you proceed, to arrange your booking or livery. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) tools to understand how visitors find and use this site and to measure our advertising. These services may set cookies and receive usage data (such as pages viewed and approximate location). You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, and advertising preferences can be managed with Google and Meta directly.
How long we keep enquiry details
We keep enquiry emails as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any booking that follows, then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@banhoekstud.co.za and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
