A film premiere

July 2026 · Welcome drinks, then a screening in the indoor arena

Guests came up the oak lane at five, met the horses over their stable doors, and had a glass under the paper lanterns on the pergola while the light went.

Then everyone walked through to the indoor arena, where a screen had gone up on the sand, hay bales and proteas marked out the rows, and bicycle wheels wound with fairy lights leaned against the bales. Blankets over the chairs, because it was July.
