A fun, outdoor experience for children to explore, learn and enjoy the farm. The Banhoek Adventure Club combines time with horses, outdoor activities, games and hands-on experiences in a beautiful farm environment.

What the day is
Explore, learn, and get properly muddy
From grooming horses and learning about farm life to fun adventure activities, each day is designed to keep children active, engaged and having fun.
Banhoek Stud is a working livery farm, so the horses, the yard and the people who care for them are all real. Children get to join in, with our team alongside them the whole day.

Drop-off
Sign in at the yard, meet the team and the other adventurers.
Morning
Horses and farm life
Grooming, learning how the horses are cared for, and how a working stud farm runs.
Midday
Lunch
Bring a packed lunch, or order a Banhoek Stud Lunch Pack when you book.
Afternoon
Adventure activities and games
Outdoor games and hands-on activities across the farm, with plenty of time to run.

Tired, muddy and full of stories.
Good to know
- For children aged 6 to 12. Spaces are limited and go in order of booking.
- Drop-off is 08:00 – 08:30 and collection is 15:30 – 16:00.
- Send a packed lunch and a water bottle, or order a Banhoek Stud Lunch Pack for R150 when you book.
- Closed shoes, long trousers and clothes that can get dirty. A hat and sunscreen for the outdoor hours.
- Tell us about allergies, medication or anything else on the booking form, so we can plan around it.
- It's a working farm: children stay with the team, and horses are handled only with staff alongside.
